Abstract
In this article, the authors demonstrate high spread of the human papilloma viral contamination and danger, which this virus poses for the health of population. Taking into account that this is the only virus, for which it is proved that there are properties for inducing the neoplastic process in the human body, the interest revealed by the scientists from all over the world towards the creation of a specific vaccine is beyond any doubt. The researchers showed the results of application of the primary vaccine prevention for papilloma viral infection abroad. They have also highlighted their own experience in vaccination, which is probably most valuable for the pediatricians, who understand the reality of a danger and attempt to avert it.

We are presenting one of the chapters from the who report devoted to critical emergencies of international importance in the public healthcare, the most frightful of which is still pandemic flu. The counter measures in respect of the given threat are preemptive. They give a chance to get ready for the pandemic and probably prevent the threat from coming true.

Abstract
The article considers acute otitis media, which is acknowledged to be rather an urgent issue of pediatrics and particularly of infancy. The authors highlight the major aspects of the etiology and pathogenesis, diagnostics and clinical run of the given pathology. They stress difficulty of otitises treatment: antibacterial therapy justification and in the event of its application — high probability of the pathogen antibiotic resistance. Therefore, otitises vaccine prevention becomes quite perspective, which is convincingly demonstrated by the example of the conjugated vaccine against the pneumococcal infection, most often leading to the complicated otitises.
Key words: acute otitis media, clinical course, diagnostics, treatment, vaccine prevention, children.

Abstract
The review highlights data on the influenza pandemic in 1918, 1957, 1968, 1977 and virus strain properties, which caused them. The author considers genesis mechanisms of the pandemic flu strains, including mutations, resulting into the increase of virulence, as well as an opportunity for the process of the human and bird flu reas sortion to take part in the genesis of the pandemic strains. The author also examines the mechanisms for turning low virulent flu viruses into high virulent ones able to induce epizootic outbreaks. The work discusses genes and proteins, defining specific character of the avian flu viruses and probable H5N1 flu pandemic appearance. The author thinks it quite unlikely for such an event to occur.
Key words: flu, pandemic.

CASE REPORT

Abstract
The reason for atopic dermatitis in the majority of children under one year is known to be cow milk allergy. The only possibility to eliminate the dermatitis development among infants with the pathology and to assure healthy growth is to provide nutritional management with amino acid mix. The authors present a clinical case of the efficient application of such mix (Neocate), which is an adopted infant milk formula, enriched with a necessary complex of all nutrients, microelements and vitamins.

GENETICS IN PEDIATRICS

Abstract
In the given article, the authors discuss the most difficult issue of the pediatrics, which is the treatment of the severe bronchial asthma. Our columnist is professor A.S. Kolbin introduces omalizumab, a new medication from the monoclonal antibodies group, to our readers. It allows practitioners to control the severe persistent bronchial asthma. The article accentuates the clinical effectiveness and pharmacoeconomic aspects of the medication application.

The review is dedicated to the problem of hypogonadotropic hypogonadism. Modern ideas of the stages of normal sexual development of girls, etiology and pathogenesis of constitutional arrest of sexual development and hypogonadotropic hypogonadism are presented. Modern approaches to the treatment of this condition using hormone replacement therapy and non-hormonal agents are considered.

Abstract
The authors studied the results of immunization among the children against the infection caused by haemophilus influenzae type B by two vaccines: ACT HIB and Hiberix. They confirmed high vaccination efficiency, as among almost all the children they identified an increase of the antibody titer against type b haemophilus influenzae. Vaccine tolerance was good. Side effects were rare (brief body temperature increase, focal reactions) and ill defined.
Key words: haemophilus influenzae type B, vaccination, children.

Abstract
Premature newborns are a high risk group in terms of the infection complications growth. therefore, it is highly urgent to choose the efficient and safe antibacterial medications for the given category of patients. The authors carried out a pharma coepidemiological study of the carbapenems application among 353 newborns with very low body weight at birth, as well as the literature analysis on the use of this medications group in compliance with the evidence based medicine. As a result, they showed that for the last 8 years the frequency of the carbapenems application in Saint-Petersburg among the newborns has grown from 10 to 52%. It is statistically accurate that imipenem/cilastatin was more often used to the amount of 25 mg/kg twice a day. In 71% of cases, carbapenems were applied in the form of the empiric therapy against the general bacterial infection in combination with vancomycin and/or metronidazole. Antibiotics proved to be safe. The literature analysis showed that there is no data, which would allow one to compare the efficiency of carbapenems with other antibiotics among the newborns based on the results of the meta analyses and randomized clinical studies. Nowadays, carbapenems demonstrated high efficiency and safety in the small clinical observations.
Key words: carbapenems, imipenem, meropenem, newborns with very low body weight at birth.

Abstract
The article highlights the results of the survey carried out among the parents of the children, who attend preschool education institutions (PEI) in Krasnodar and PEI employees, who are involved in the evaluation of the children's health and rehabilitation process. The authors defined a social portrait of the families whose children attend municipal PEIS. They identified that most parents are rather well aware of the medical issues. Acute sick rate of the preschool age is high, as about 15% of  children have already acquired a chronic pathology in the form of a confirmed diagnosis. The authors also established a dependence of the sick rate among the preschool children on the age, at which they were enrolled to the PEI and living conditions. All the parents are worried about the health of their children and would like to enhance it. Most respondents believe that PEI preventive programs should be financed by the government.

The given article highlights an important aspect of the acute enteric infections among the infants — application of the enterosorbents. Noteworthy to say that the latter takes part not only in the egestion of the endo and exotoxins from the human organism but also in the elimination of a causative agent. The authors convincingly showed an advantage of medications from this group in the treatment, as they drastically reduced the relief terms for the disease symptoms and patients recovery.
