Сезон простуд в разгаре: лечим кашель

Аннотация

Острый кашель является распространенным симптомом и частым поводом обращения за медицинской помощью. Пациенты с острым кашлем нередко прибегают к самолечению с использованием безрецептурных препаратов. Однако эффективность и безопасность таких средств, как правило, не проверяется в строгих условиях клинических исследований. Более того, отмечено большое число побочных эффектов в результате применения у детей подобных препаратов. В статье разбираются вопросы целесообразности медикаментозного лечения нетяжелых случаев острой респираторной инфекции, сопровождаемой кашлем.
