Abstract
Assisted by АВС/VEN analysis, the article evaluates the efficiency of the medication consumption in the day patient facility of the children's health center for 4 years, while providing the beneficial categories of the children's population with the necessary medications. Having analyzed the efficiency of the acute respiratory viral infection pharmacotherapy by the indices of the who medication prescription, the authors identified the leading role of the clinical pharmacological service in the optimization of the pharmacological support at the initial stage of the pediatric care pertaining to the reasonable prescription of medications and impact on the inefficient variants of their application.

REVIEW

Abstract
In the given systematic review, the authors evaluated the efficiency of the amino acid based mixtures among the patients, suffering from the cow's milk protein allergy. They have studied the electronic and bibliographic databases. The researchers accounted for the patients of any age, suffering from the cow's milk protein allergy or similar symptoms. The task was to compare the aminoacid based mixtures with highly hydrolyzed mixtures, soy mixtures and cow's milk/cow's milk based mixtures. They showed that the use of the amino acid based mixtures is safe and efficient among the infants with the confirmed or suspected cow's milk protein allergy. The data of the randomized controlled studies, comparing amino acid based mixtures with highly hydrolyzed mixtures, witnesses that both types of mixtures are equally efficient in reducing the symptoms of the cow's milk protein allergy in the confirmed or alleged allergy cases. This review demonstrates the clinical impact of the amino acid based mixtures both upon certain symptoms and growth of the infants and children with the cow's milk protein allergy, who have zero tolerance towards the highly hydrolyzed mixtures.
Key words: aminoacid-based mixtures, cow's milk protein allergy, highly hydrolyzed mixtures, soy mixtures, systematic review.

Abstract
The authors provided modern information on the basic noninvasive methods to assess the inflammatory process in the intestine in crohn's disease and colitis gravis. The researchers thoroughly described the opportunities and limitations for the use of faecal calprotectin as a marker of the inflammatory enteric diseases. Importance of this marker for the differential diagnostics of  the inflammatory and functional enteric diseases has been shown.
Key words: markers of the enteric inflammation, faecal calprotectin, inflammatory bowel diseases, colitis gravis, сrohn's disease.

Abstract
The authors studied the opportunities to define the level of faecal calprotectin in diagnostics of the inflammatory enteric diseases (grohn's disease and colitis gravis) among children. It was established that children, suffering from the inflammatory enteric diseases, the concentration of faecal calprotectin increases, thus, correlating with the clinical and endoscopic activity of the disease, as well as with the spread of the intestinal impairment. Faecal calprotectin may be a reliable marker of the inflammation activity in the event of grohn's disease and colitis gravis.
Key words: faecal calprotectin, inflammatory enteric diseases, colitis gravis, grohn's disease, diagnostics, children.

Abstract
It has been described the results of MRI and ct neurovisualization with contrast enhancement in 38 children with clinical diagnosis acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADE). The distribution of contrast agents in regions of ADE has been studied and the role of contrast enhancement in diagnosis of its has been estimated. Contrast media application allows to detect brain lesions, to identificate the real volume of cerebral tissue included in pathological process and to estimate the efficacy of treatment of ADE. Investigated variants of MRCM (gadopentetate dimeglumine, gadobutrol) and RCM (iopromide) distribution in zones of brain lesions in patients with ade are the basis for specificity increase of ADE diagnosis.
Key words: acute disseminated encephalomyelitis, contrast enhancement, children.

Abstract
Cough is one of the main symptoms for the impairment of the respiratory passages. Nonetheless, cough may usually appear along with the development of a pathological process in other organs and systems. Authors point to the importance of its correct estimate for the differential diagnosis. They have examined the reasons for the cough among children, depending on the age of a child, related symptoms, duration and other properties of the cough itself. They studied etiological structure of diseases, in the course of which such a symptom comes to existence. They also analyzed the detection rate of the viral and intracellular causative agents in the aspirates among chronically coughing children, as well as the indicators of the humoral immunity to the intracellular causative agents. Besides, the article deals with the questions of the adequate antibechic therapy.
Key words: cough, etiology, pathogenesis, differential diagnosis, viruses, intracellular causative agents, treatment, children.

LECTURE

Abstract
This article reviews the urgent issue of the modern pediatrics — meningitis and its prevention. The authors explicitly highlighted the etiopathological aspects of the disease, defining both the clinical course of the disease and forecast. The extensive list of severe neurologic complications of the bacterial meningitises stipulated a necessity to look for the preventive events. Besides, growing antibiotic resistance and consequently effective meningitis therapy are not insignificant. The authors convincingly demonstrated that the basis for the prevention is vaccination among the most vulnerable groups of population — children younger than two years and elderly people. There is an opportunity for the «collective» immunity. Moreover, vaccination breaks the vicious circle of the growing resistance to antibiotics.

Abstract
The article reviews the urgent issue of the allergology, which is the application of the antihistaminic medications. The author has demonstrated the advantages of the 2nd generation medications, which have a selective impact on the H1 receptors and do not cause any sedative or anticholinergic effects. She also showed high efficiency of cetirizine, a representative of the given group, for the treatment of the all year round rhinitis and other allergies.

The article deals with the long acting β2-agonists in therapy of children, suffering from the bronchial asthma, with regards to the recommendations of the modern manuals. Inhalant long acting β2-agonists, which formoterol and salmeterol belong to, are applied in combination with the inhalatory glucocorticosteroids among the patients with poor control asthma at inhalatory glucocorticosteroids based monotherapy.

Abstract
The article describes the modern approaches to the opportunistic infection diagnostics and pharmacotherapy among children. the author reviews the general laws for the emergence, clinical course and diagnostics of the above mentioned infections in childhood and highlights the issues of diagnostics and pharmacotherapy of certain opportunistic infections: mycoplasmal and chlamydia infections. The article points out to the troubles, appearing in the course of diagnostics and pharmacotherapy of the given diseases among children.

Abstract
The article highlights the results of the act test based bronchial asthma supervision evaluation among teenagers and defines the interrelation of the objective and subjective asthma supervision parameters. The researchers examined 214 male teenagers aged from 16 to 18, suffering from the bronchial asthma, who were sent to the allergy department to verify the diagnosis. Bronchial asthma supervision evaluation was assisted by the act test. The research has showed that over a half (56%) of teenagers, suffering from mild bronchial asthma, mention its un control course, do not receive any adequate pharmacotherapy and are consequently a risk group in terms of the bronchial asthma exacerbation. Act test results correlate with the functional indices (fev1), as well as with the degree of the bronchial hyperresponsiveness, which is one of the markers of an allergic inflammation in the lower respiratory passages.
Key words: bronchial asthma supervision, act test, teenagers.
