NEW OPPORTUNITIES OF IMMUNOMODULATORY THERAPY FOR SICKLY CHILDREN

Abstract

In this article authors consider frequent development of respiratory infections in children, which is a relevant problem in pediatrics. Criteria of including patients into sickly children group as well as reasons and risk factors of development of this category, are presented. Types of frequent infections preventive treatment are shown. A new immunocorrective medicine pidotimod is presented in more detail and its efficiency in immunomodulation and reduction of morbidity among such children is convincingly proven, as exemplified by a number of multicenter studies.
