CHILD ABUSE AS THE PROBLEM THAT REQUIRES INTERDISCIPLINARY SOLUTION

Abstract

This paper presents a modern approach to the problem of child abuse, as well as the results of the Scientific Center for Children’s Health research. There were shown the features of emotional and behavioral sphere of children who have been abused, the psychological characteristics of their parents, the causes of cruelty have been identified. The authors have developed the proposals concerning the organizing a comprehensive family and child support, highlighting the decisive role of the pediatric service in this matter.
