COMBINED THERAPY OF ANTIBIOTIC-ASSOCIATED DIARRHEA IN CHILDREN

Abstract

The most important component in the treatment of children with infectious and inflammatory diseases is antibiotics. However, widespread, and sometimes not enough justified use of antibiotics often leads to complications, among which a violation of the gastrointestinal tract microecology i. e. an antibiotic-associated diarrhea occupies a special place. Currently, the most promising avenue for the prevention and complex treatment of antibiotic-associated diarrhea in children is the use of probiotics. The article presents data of domestic probiotic preparation in the complex treatment of antibiotic-associated diarrhea in children.
Key words: antibiotic-associated diarrhea, probiotics, antibiotics, intestines dysbiosis.
