Учитывая включение вакцинации против данной инфекции в российский  Национальный календарь профилактических прививок,  в свете прогнозирования ожидаемого эффекта массовой иммунизации авторы анализируют международные подходы к оценке результативности вакцинации. Обсуждаются сложности трактовки эпидемиологических, иммунологических и клинических данных при отсутствии исследований по прямому сравнению препаратов. Показана необходимость многокомпонентного подхода к оценке эффективности программ иммунизации, включающего оптимизацию эпидемиологического надзора, утверждение стандартного определения случая, учет результатов предрегистрационных клинических исследований вакцин и пострегистрационного наблюдения в сходных популяциях.</p><p> </p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article is dedicated to prevention of pneumococcal infections, which remain among the most common diseases in infants. The authors analyze international approaches to vaccination effectiveness assessment in light of predicting the expected effect of cohort immunization, given introduction of vaccination against this infection to the Russian National Immunization Calendar. The article presents a discussion of difficulties in interpreting epidemiological, immunological and clinical data in the absence of studies on directcomparison of drugs.
